Attitude of Gratitude

Everyday I wake up safe and warm in Golden, CO. I find more food in my kitchen than some villages see in a week. I see that I have the economic and political freedoms to go where I want to go, do what I want to do, say what I want to say, and wear (or not wear) whatever I choose. As I gaze out my window at the beautiful Colorado view I am aware that my life has never been ravaged by flood, fire, tornado, or criminal acts. Finally, I belong to a family and circle of friends that call me "Our Shauna". I belong to people that know I can do or be anything I want to be, except a Major League Baseball player. To people that not only encourage me to be awesome, they expects it. Thank you Lord for loving me and let me live up to all you've given me.
